We believe our building is right downtown Campbell River for a reason.  We serve a large group of friends who are homeless, near homeless, or rent poor (all income goes to rent/utilities).  The City of Campbell River did a Point in Time Count of the Homeless population in CR in 2018 and they counted 81 people.  It is assumed that the actual number is over 100 people.  Campbell River also has runaway housing prices that are making rental housing either unavailable or unattainable due to extremely high rental pricing.

We want to come along side our friends downtown without judgement and with the same grace that we know God gives us.  Jesus came to love and save each and every person no matter their age, wealth, gender, ethnicity or social standing.  We want to come along side with the same demeanor.  We want to be a positive transforming presence downtown where people can find hope, peace, friendship, food, clothing, and love.
